I graduated from Ballyfermot College of Further Education with a BA (hons) in animation in 2013. During my time there I helped create 2 short films, "Phoenix, Medium Rare" Which won the Royal Television Society award for best short and "Complicit" which has won awards at Ecologico International festival, Silk Road Film Festival, Gothenburg Independent Film Festival, Signal Short Film Festival, Best Animation at Melbourne Independent Film Festival and Best Animation at Delhi International Film Festival. Both of these shorts were made with Gavin Hoffman http://www.gavinhoffman.blogspot.ie/ Since graduating I have worked with Giant Animation on Terry Pratchet's "The Duel" and spent 10 months as an intern with Piranha Bar in Dublin. I have also completed a semester of Ianimate. My main area of work is in character animation but I have been expanding my tools of war to incorporate a broader spectrum of skills, including modelling, rigging and texturing. I have used many different 3D software packages, 3D Studio Max in college, Softimage and Maya in Piranha Bar as well as learning the basics of Modo
