An injury ridden summer behind me, it's time to get back to work. I have to design a character for our short movie this year, little bit out of my comfort zone but seem to be getting the hang of the Wacom tablet

Here's a few stills of how the movie will look like when it eventually gets finished, hopefully in time for deadlines and such. Starting to come together all the same
Think my animation has improved almost as much as de visual look of the short so fingers crossed will all work out in de end

Started animating our short for the year this week after a few speed bumps in pre production. looking forward to getting to grips with the models, here's a first draft animation that we decided to change. Started out as a test for the rig but got carried away with myself and animated the scene. The re-work is quite different and does look a lot better but we decided not to put any of the final pieces up on the web till the whole film is complete. This one was a good test run, as we figured out a few problems with the rigs that we have since sorted out.

Been working on fine tuning this one for the last few weeks. Pretty happy with it, first attempt at acting in 3D, and first lipsync on Maya

Got this project earlier in the year and decided it was time to finish it off and get it online. Had to show primary, secondary and tertiary action, which basically means something pulling something that's pulling something else, in this case, legs/body pulling arms that are pulling balloon.
