More Life Drawing Experimenting
Starting to get the hang of this, and definitely need some more colour work in my portfolio anyway.
Hadn't used colouring pencils much, think I need to invest in a better set than what I have but like where this one brought me.
Again using chalk pastels, slightly less abstract than my last post and not sure about the colour of the background but figure looks well and light on the ground worked very well.
Best picture of the day, acrylic on sugar paper. have always been a fan of impressionism and tried to replicate some of that here. did a full figure study before this one, but decided to focus in on the main torso and it worked much better

Life Drawing
Going through an experimental phase in life drawing class for this week and the next 2, use of different media and colour pallets should point us in the right direction for personalising out portfolio for the end of the year. Here's some of the more successful results.
Both are chalk pastel on sugar paper, my favourite medium to work in and seems to be the most effective. Particularly like the pink/purple one, up for consideration to go in the portfolio at the end of the year

Flag
Exercise in timing and primary/secondary action from September of this year.
Music: Hungarian Dance Number 5, Johannes Brahms
Smithy
Short exercise from first year of the diploma course in modelling and texturing, also my first completed layout in 3D
Lipsync
Here's my 3D lipsync project from second year of my diploma course, way easier than the 2D version, and far more successful. Character was given to us by our teacher, and isn't the best, but not bad for a first attempt.
